Human perception of sound comes from vibration. Generally speaking, music is produced from loudspeakers by amplifying the signal with an amplifier and then through air vibration to reach the eardrum. Usually the bass part of the music that humans can hear is 50-150 Hz. Vibrations below 10Hz are usually accompanied by natural disasters, such as earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides, volcanic eruptions and other vibrations are 3-6Hz low-frequency waves with huge energy. Some animals in nature can perceive, but humans have lost this function.

Musical vibration that humans can feel through their bodies is called "musical somatosensory vibration", and its maximum range is 16-20000Hz. The low-frequency part of 20-50Hz greatly enhances people's bass and gravity sense, accompanied by a sense of vibration and impact gives people a very strong sense of presence. At the same time, the frequency range of 20-50Hz can give people the pleasure and intoxication of psychological and physiological pleasure. Because the bass part of music (bass) is relatively monotonous repetition, nearly 1/f2 vibration, giving people a sense of safety and comfort. This feeling exists in the human subconscious.

The frequency of human heartbeat is close to 1/f2 vibration. The fetus grows and develops under the condition of feeling the mother's rhythm vibration. This kind of peaceful and healthy mother's sensory vibration makes infants feel safe and comfortable. The memory of this sensory vibration gradually fades away with the birth and growth of infants, but it will remain in the subconscious forever. When the baby cries, once it is held up by the mother, the mother's sensory vibration will make the baby feel safe and comfortable, and immediately calm down. Similarly, when an adult is anxious, anxious or depressed, the musical somatosensory vibration can also make people feel peaceful.

Somatosensory audio technology is to sort out the 16-150 Hz low-frequency electrical signals in music and amplify them by an amplifier, which converts them into physical vibration through a transducer and acts on human conduction and perception. Especially the audio technology which can faithfully reproduce the frequency range of 20-50Hz, this rhythm is close to 1/f2 vibration, which can make people feel safe, comfortable and have the most elements, and also can promote local blood circulation.

Musical repertoire used in somatosensory music therapy is selected by musicians, psychologists and other disciplines, and specially recorded, which can best reflect the musical somatosensory vibration. By analyzing the relationship between the vibration waveform and the therapeutic effect of music, we divide the waveform into three categories and 16 sub-categories.

1、Slow-period signal wave: including two-clock wave, read wave, interactive wave, broken wave, compact virtual wave, rocking wave and other six kinds of waveforms. The main effects are relaxation, sedation, etc.

2、Fast-period signal wave: including 5 kinds of waveforms, such as interruption, swing interruption, bell wind, etc. Its main effect is to make people happy and relaxed.

3、Fast Cycle, Urgent Signal Wave: Including four kinds of waveforms, such as awakening, the main effect is to make people awake and exciting.

It has been observed that music somatosensory vibration therapy can promote gastrointestinal peristalsis, improve and prevent constipation, and prevent bedsores. Somatosensory audio technology has been applied in the field of wine and food production. It has been found that it can promote yeast activation, affect the structure of alcohol and water molecules, promote fermentation and maturation, and make the taste better. The results suggest that somatosensory music therapy may regulate human functional status through physical, psychological, physiological, chemical, cellular, molecular and other ways.

Somatosensory music produces audible and sensible music/sound vibrations. Music/sound produces physiological vibrations and induces psychological activities. The mechanism of music and music vibration in treating pain is that music and music vibration produce two processes: one is psychological process through listening to music, the other is physiological process through music vibration of transducer. These two processes activate pain and inhibit nervous activity. At the same time, these two processes combine the physical and auditory nerve activities to produce a cooperative mechanism for the central system.
